This fashion film approached “malfunction” as a psychological and emotional condition rather than a technical error, reflecting the imbalance, exhaustion and emotional instability often present within contemporary life. Through fashion film, styling and atmospheric image-making, I used shifts in space, colour and character states to portray insomnia, sensory disorientation and the gradual deterioration of psychological balance. Combining references from cinema, psychological horror and experimental fashion film, the project became an early exploration of emotionally driven moving image and cinematic fashion storytelling.
